I believe that a teacher is obligated to try their best on adapting to their student's learning style and fit their needs. Additionally, I also feel that a teacher should make sure that their student fully understands the content and should help them until they do so. During my time as a TA, I noticed that there are students who preferred a more hands-on approach while others preferred to be more independent. I have learned the importance of being able to do both and feel that I have successfully been able to do so. After a new idea or concept is introduced, I imagine myself assisting the student in making sure to understand the logic and workings behind the idea/concept and later on seeing if the student has understood it by asking them to demonstrate their knowledge through questions or activities.

Tutoring Experience

During my junior year, I was one of the teacher's assistants for the Advanced Algebra course. I am confident in my knowledge on the course as well as other math courses such as Geometry and Algebra I. Furthermore, I am also confident in my knowledge on certain Humanities based courses such as Humanities I and Humanities II.
