Hi there, I'm Evan Wai. I attend GSIS as a Y10 student right now. Maths is one of my strongest disciplines. I studied Olympiad mathematics and advanced mathematics. Among my accomplishments are my gold medals in the UKMT IMC and SMC. Additionally, I have been honing my math Olympiad abilities since I was in elementary school.I have what it takes to help your child become a very good maths student. Even though mathematics is my strongest subject, I can also teach other topics including science, English, and Chinese.

When I first start teaching, I usually read over the curriculum and make a timetable for the lessons I want to teach the kids. Initially, we would acquaint ourselves with every subject by imparting the fundamental ideas and providing them with exercises and examples to make sure they grasped everything. In order to help the students learn more and do well in class, I personally like to provide them with more difficult ideas related to the subject. I employ a variety of techniques and adjust to the needs and preferences of each student. For instance, some pupils would rather work with drawings and objects than with formulae and numbers. Getting used to them can help them advance in their own way, which will ultimately lead to getting high grades and understanding of the subject.

I have worked as a teacher for many different age groups of pupils. I have first joined organisations that assist children with their English. I have assisted them in becoming more proficient readers and English communicators. In addition, I've taught maths to pupils ranging in age from 7 to 10. With my help, they have all done really well in the topic and received excellent scores. As I've already shown, I enjoy teaching mathematics the best because it's my greatest subject, but I can teach other topics just as well.
