Currently a sophomore at Hong Kong International School, I am a highly passionate and motivated student with a passion for STEM subjects (but I love Humanities too!). I am currently taking AP Chemistry, Honors Advanced Algebra, Honors Biology, and Humanities 2 in Action. Some of my hobbies include taking naps, baking, and reading, and as an MSC tutor in school, I have plenty of experience in working with my peers and helping them feel more confident with their skills. I am so excited to continue my tutoring journey at Stryv!

My tutoring approach is rooted in providing personalized support that prioritizes the student's needs and strengths. I am also a firm believer that tutoring should be a holistic approach, and my goal with students is never to just have them memorize the information; rather, I want to help them truly understand and grasp the concepts that support the information. I hope to be able to cultivate an enjoyable and engaging learning environment that students feel comfortable in.

Tutoring Experience
I am a Math and Science Center tutor at school, where I regularly host review sessions for upcoming summatives as well as conduct one-on-one individual tutoring sessions to help explain STEM-related concepts to students. In addition, I've also worked with the Hong Kong Student Aid Society, helping local DSE students prepare for their English oral exams. Lastly, I regularly volunteer by tutoring children with special educational needs, and these diverse experiences have allowed me to develop skills such as patience and compassion for different learning styles, enabling me to adjust my approach depending on the specific student.
