Columbia University
I’m a current senior in the dual B.A. between Sciences Po and Columbia University, majoring in Sustainable Development. I am originally French (bilingual in French and English), but have lived abroad since I was just two years old. I attended HKIS from 2016 to 2019, where I went for 8-10th grade, before moving to London to finish my high school diploma in the IB program. My interests include cooking, and any form of outdoor activities (cycling, hiking, swimming).

Much of my tutoring experience comes from when I was in high school and received tutoring help. As such, I remember what it feels like being the student, and what helped me most when I was struggling. Especially when preparing formal exams, I make sure to spend time on understanding what the question is truly asking, to avoid any surprises on test day. For younger children, I will draw on my experience as a youth swim coach to make lessons fun and enjoyable, albeit in a structured way to maximise learning. The most satisfying part of being a tutor is in seeing the student’s progress over time, which is always my end goal.

Tutoring Experience
I graduated high school with 42/45 points in the IB diploma, achieving the top marks of 7/7 in HL English Language & Literature, HL Geography, and HL Economics. At Columbia, I have featured on the Dean’s List for my two semesters thus far. At HKIS, I took Humanities in Action and was part of the first Humanities II in Action cohort in 2018. I was also in the French schooling system until 5th grade (CM2 equivalent). I am able to provide tutoring help in AP/IB French, Humanities I and II (in action), AP/IB English, and IB Geography.
