Before classes, I make sure to prep myself and organize a routine/schedule for what I will be doing with my students for that session. I also ensure to include breaks in between sessions especially for younger students as they tend to have shorter attention spans. Instead of just pure teaching I also make sure to make classes interactive. I give them a space to voice their opinions, ask questions, and learn how to apply what they've learned to real-life situations/scenarios. My experience in studying psychology has also taught me effective study techniques like spaced practice, retrieval practice, and many others which I would share with my students.

Tutoring Experience
In terms of English and Chinese, my experience with teaching is more focused on kindergarten to primary school students. I have spent a good amount of my high school years working with children ages 3-11 and feel confident with interacting and teaching them. In terms of Graphic Design and Performing Arts, I can teach all ages. I was a teaching assistant for my school's Graphic Design class during my senior year of high school and have worked as a content design intern at Mother's Choice. I was also part of the leadership team where I worked as an assistant director and acted in school plays/musicals and was part of the highest-auditioned choir.
