You may have noticed that some tutors have a Star Tutor badge on their profile. This article will briefly explain what this badge means and how these amazing tutors are selected.
What is a Star Tutor?
We award the Star Tutor badge to tutors who have particularly impressed us over recent months. Any tutor who meets the criteria over the considered period of time will receive the badge and keep it until the next assessment period.
How do tutors get the badge?
To receive the Star Tutor badge, tutors need perform the following:
- Accumulate a minimum of 50 logged tutoring hours
- Consistently receive outstanding feedback from clients on teaching quality
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and client-centric behavior
- Excel in building strong rapport with students.
- Maintain responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions
These criteria may change in the future, as we continue expanding our understanding of what makes a tutor stand out.
Should I only choose a Star Tutor?
There are dozens of great tutors at Stryv and not all of them will meet the criteria to become a Star Tutor.
That being said, the Star Tutor badge is a great indication of a tutor’s professionalism and dedication to students over recent months.
