UCLA
I'm a first-year astrophysics major at UCLA, and I've had the pleasure of working with Stryv Academics for four years. I love to learn about the mysteries of the universe through math and physics; I'm a member of the UCLA Astronomical Society, and last summer, I worked at the Laboratory of Space Research at the University of Hong Kong. Outside of teaching and academics, I'm passionate about playing the guitar, film photography, and playing soccer.

I believe that any subject can be interesting to all students. There is always something to be learned from a problem. I like to make sure students are understanding the core concepts of each topic, which is fun to learn if presented in a captivating manner. I have students make connections between subjects, which helps them see the bigger picture in how a topic can be applied in real life.

Tutoring Experience
During my time at Stryv, I've taught math, science, and English to students ranging from grades 1 through 11. Along with one-on-one tutoring, I've also taught in group settings through Unicef's Caritas program. I helped underprivileged students learn English through reading books, playing games, and general instructing. Due to my diverse experiences in teaching, I can adapt to different learning styles quickly, from students who prefer to learn strictly using equations, to those who like to approach problems with a creative twist.
Additionally, I received a 1540 on the SAT, so this is something I can tutor in as well.
