Academic achievements include all A* in 10 subjects at GCSE, 99th percentile SAT score (1530), International Biology Olympiad-HKC (Bronze + HK Team training Phase II qualification). In addition to academics, I've worked as a research intern at HK-PolyU and CUHK, developing on-skin biosensors and monitoring neurotoxicants in water.

I have 3 years of experience tutoring a range of students from many schools, such as GSIS, HKIS, YCIS, Discovery College and more. Having worked with different curriculums as well as SEN/Low-income students, I understand the struggles and challenges each student faces. I specialize in Biology, Math, Chemistry, Economics, English Language/Literature (GCSE) and IB TOK(Theory of Knowledge).

I believe every student is different - and every lesson should be too. As such, my teaching is highly individualized; I utilize a combination of visual, written and auditory aids to effectively convey complex ideas. In addition, interactive questioning and active recall is utilized to ensure understanding. Through my lessons, I want my students to understand the ‘why’ behind an answer.
