About Me

Isabelle is a 12th-grade student at Canadian International School of Hong Kong who runs an international literary magazine and has won awards for her essays and poetry. She is passionate about literature and the power of storytelling to connect people across cultures. Beyond her academic pursuits, she works at second-hand bookshops and enjoys making ceramics and cooking.

Academic Qualifications

Isabelle is predicted to achieve a perfect 45/45 in the IB Diploma with an OSSD average of 97%, earning multiple subject awards in English, History, and Global Politics. Her excellence in humanities has been recognized through the HKU Life Story Prize, the Yamabuki Prize, and distinction in the John Locke Institute Global Essay Competition. Additionally, she received a scholarship to attend Cornell's Precollege Summer Program for World Politics.

Tutoring Experience

Isabelle has taught English, History, and Global Politics to students ages 6–18, specializing in HKDSE, IB, and primary-level literacy. She has helped HKDSE students raise scores across Papers 1–4 and guided IB and MYP learners to stronger humanities grades. Additionally, she has supported younger students in phonics and foundational English while completing a 120-hour TEFL certification.
