About me
Isabelle is an HKIS Class of 2024 graduate currently on a gap year, teaching a range of subjects including AP Psychology, AP English Language, AP US Government, and sciences to high school students. She is passionate about helping students develop critical thinking skills across humanities and STEM disciplines. In her free time, she loves reading sci-fi and classics, knitting, listening to music, and going on long walks.
Qualifications
Isabelle completed 10 AP courses—including AP Psychology, AP Biology, AP English Language, AP English Literature, and AP US Government—scoring high across all exams. Additionally, she has conducted research at HKU's School of Biological Sciences in Professor Yasuhara's lab, focusing on ostracods.
Experience
Isabelle has experience tutoring younger students in humanities and STEM subjects, including work as a teaching assistant at HKIS Summer Discovery Program. Additionally, she has assisted at HKIS Church of All Nations camp working with various age groups.
Teaching approach
