Estelle
Hong Kong International School
Hello! I'm Estelle and am currently a high school senior at HKIS. I want to study statistics and public policy in the future. In school, I love when I get to help my peers understand concepts they struggled with and want to continue doing this outside of school as well through Stryv. Other than academics, I love to bake, dance (even though I'm bad at it), and drink boba!

I believe that every person, including myself, has a way they learn best. So by getting to know the students better, I will prioritize finding a way that works best for the specific student and work from there. Additionally, I think learning really happens when students are able to organize and explain the content by themselves. So at the end of learning certain units/concepts, I will make sure students are able to articulate what they learned in their own words.

Tutoring Experience
My official tutoring experience started this year, as I got selected as a TA for the school's AP Statistics class. I have a 5 on the AP Stats exam, have gotten As for my past honors math classes (Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Precalculus), and have an 800 SAT math score. Moreover, as a leader of the Neurodiversity HKIS club, I have experience working with students of a wide range including younger students, as well as students with learning differences such as ADHD and Dyslexia.
