Beatrice

Beatrice earned perfect 5s across seven AP exams, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus AB, AP Psychology, AP Chinese, and AP Human Geography. Beyond her APs, she scored 1550 (99th percentile) on the SAT and achieved High Distinction in both the ACS Chemistry Olympiad and Chem 13 Olympiad, placing in the top 5 in Hong Kong for each competition.

Beatrice has been a Math tutor for middle and high school students at Stryv since 2022, also serving as Teaching Assistant for AP Chemistry at HKIS. Beyond her core tutoring work, she has tutored students from grades 1-6 through the American Club's Homework Club and worked with the Chinese Tutoring Center at HKIS.

Beatrice uses interactive activities, real-world examples, and collaborative problem-solving to engage students, incorporating visual aids and kinesthetic exercises for some while breaking down concepts into manageable steps for others. To personalize learning further, she incorporates student interests and hobbies into lessons and applies learning psychology principles to tailor her methods to each individual.
