About me
Ayaka is a senior at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong who loves English as a subject for its power to communicate ideas and convey thoughts to the world, teaching IB Language & Literature, Global Politics, and TOK. Bilingual in English and Japanese with proficiency in Mandarin, she has lived across New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, bringing a global perspective to her tutoring. She loves building connections with students and watching them grow as learners, while frequently volunteering at dog shelters and working with young children through organizations like kids4kids. In her free time, she enjoys reading contemporary fiction, traveling to take photographs, and listening to K-pop and pop music.
