About me
Anthony is a freshman at Hong Kong International School passionate about tutoring, with particular strengths in Math, Chinese, and English that he shares with students across multiple subjects. He finds joy in helping others build confidence and master challenging concepts. Outside academics, he enjoys playing volleyball, café hopping, and watching Netflix series.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in Honors Math and Science courses at the highest level available to freshmen, consistently achieving As or A-s, with notable accomplishments including Honor Roll (top 5%) in AMC8, second place in Mathcounts Chapter Round, and placement in the highest Chinese stream at school.
Experience
Anthony was recently accepted to his school's Chinese Tutoring Center, where he currently tutors a student weekly in Chinese, reviewing content and preparing for exams. Additionally, he has gained experience tutoring underprivileged children ages 5-14 in Math and English through various service organizations.
Teaching approach
Anthony emphasizes flexibility and adjusts to each student's unique learning style, using interactive games and imaginary conversations for Chinese classes to make concepts engaging.
